Uthra Ramnarine-Hill, General Manager of TATIL and Alex Knaggs, General Manager of Trident Insurance, have both attained the prestigious Fellowship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII)- the highest level of professional achievement in the global insurance industry and a benchmark of leadership excellence!

With over two decades of experience, Uthra has built an exceptional career spanning insurance operations, claims, underwriting, risk management, reinsurance, audit and compliance. Beyond her executive role, she continues to shape the future of the industry. She serves as a Director of the Insurance Association of the Caribbean (IAC) and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute (TTII). She is also committed to developing the next generation of professionals as a part-time lecturer at TTII.

Alex brings over a decade of experience across broking, advisory and carrier-side leadership, with a strong track record in underwriting performance, business transformation and profitability. His regional experience across Trinidad and Barbados continues to drive strategic growth and operational excellence within Trident Insurance. Alex holds the Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII) designation, along with CPCU, ARe, and ARM credentials. He currently serves as a Director of the General Insurance Association of Barbados.

With only eight individuals in Trinidad and Tobago holding the FCII designation, TATIL and Trident customers benefit from exceptional expertise, stronger risk insight and greater confidence in every interaction.
