Loss of Use is an optional benefit you can add to your TATIL Motor Insurance Policy, providing courtesy cash of up to $350 per day, for every day your vehicle is being repaired after a covered collision (an insured accident). It can help you manage transportation costs until you’re back behind the wheel. This benefit lasts up to a maximum of fifteen days, and the limit of your coverage is subject to your policy’s terms and conditions. It is also important to note that this benefit is only applicable for Comprehensive Motor Insurance policies – not third-party insurance. 

You can be reimbursed for renting vehicles, taking taxis, using rideshare services, and even for gas money provided to a family member or friend who gives you a ride. However you choose to get around, we can cover the costs – so keep all of your receipts! You’ll need to present those receipts to be reimbursed.

How to add Loss of Use to your TATIL Motor Insurance Policy

Adding Loss of Use is as easy as letting us know! If you’re taking out a new TATIL Policy:

• When signing up, simply let your agent or TATIL representative know you’d like to include the optional Loss of Use benefit. You can start with a quote right now! 

And, if you’re an existing TATIL customer:

• Just contact your agent or TATIL rep to learn if the benefit can be added to your policy. Then, once it’s time to renew, Loss of Use will be added for a small additional fee.
